ATM EPP Compliance & Lifespan Guide (Canada)

Which ATM EPP Keypads Can Be Repaired?
Canadian ATM owners often ask whether an EPP can be repaired or must be replaced. As of February 1, 2025, Hyosung changed which PCI 3.0 and X1 (PCI 5.0) EPPs are eligible for repair under the Repair RMA program.

How to Record EPP Version in WEBMON
To report Interac compliance for ATMs installed on TNS, EPP versions are recorded inside WEBMON (Terminal Ext tab).
- Navigate to the Terminal Ext tab in WEBMON.
- Add a new extended value.
- Label the type as EPP Version No.
- In Value 1, enter the installed EPP version (example format: 8000R – V10.01.05).
How do I know which EPP version to enter?
Look on the back of your keypad for a small sticker that says “Version”. You should see something like V10.00.05. Or use your ATM’s configuration/service records or have your technician confirm the installed EPP model and version. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll help verify what’s installed.
